A Bonsai weekend in Madrid....rock & roll

4 of the Ashfield massive travelled to Madrid over the weekend to take in visits to Luis Vallejo's Estudio Bonsai and the 7th National Bonsai Contest MBA 2014.
On the Sunday we drove into the mountains to the Bonsai Garden of David Benavente.
I'll be posting pictures over the next week or so showing trees from each of our stop overs.

British Shohin Bonsai new website

The British Shohin Association has recently undergone some changes and has been reincarnated as British Shohin Bonsai (BSB)
BSB is an informal appreciation society whose aims are to foster an interest in smaller sizes of bonsai, and to play a lead role in helping bonsai enthusiasts develop the necessary skills to grow and show this category of bonsai.
I've attached a link to the new website below, please pay it a visit I'm sure you'll be pleased you did.
