Magical Bonsai Accents

Mr Pitt the potter and I travelled down to Bristol yesterday for the Magical Bonsai Accents show, organized by Mark & Ritta Cooper, Dan Barton and John Trott.

What a great show it was with lots of interesting and colourful displays.
There were accent plantings galore, tenpai figurines, ceramics, and other paraphernalia.

Traders sold plants, pots, display tables and assorted stands, scrolls and ten pai, everything one would need to put together first class displays.

If you missed the show this year you need to make sure you get to the next one.

Here are a few pictures from the event:

Thank you to everyone that bought stands from me at the show, I hope you enjoy using them in your displays as much as I enjoy making them.

Goodies for Bonsai Exhibition in Orscholz, Germany.

I dropped a box full of goodies off with Mr Pitt this week for him to take to Germany for an exhibition in Orscholz this coming weekend.

Mr Pitt and Peter Warren will be at the show doing their bit to prop up the euro zone, however if Mr Pitt has more than 1 beer it could all end in tears...

Anyway enough of my political ramblings:

EBA show at Ljubljana May 2012

I've just returned from a great weekend in Slovenia.
3 members of Ashfield Bonsai club travelled to Ljubljana to see the European Bonsai Association show....and sample a few shandies.

Here are a few picures of my favourite trees and accents from the show.

The show was held in the Hotel Mons and was very well organised, with several internationally renowned bonsai artists demonstrating over the weekend on some fantastic material.
I hope you enjoy the pictures.
